Victims of Domestic Violence

Father we pray today for the victims of domestic violence in this nation. We know that you know who and where they are and we ask that you protect the abused among us. Protect them, o Lord, and let them know that your protective hand is upon them. Let the realization that you are with them in their difficulties bring them closer to you.

As observers make us aware of how we can provide the hands, feet and heart to do your will as we seek your guidance.

We also pray for the abusers that you would work on their heart. Change them, Lord. Bring them to their knees before you and mend their soul.

Work in this, Father, and let your work in these situations inspire others to seek a closer walk with you as well.
