Although I'm not sure Gen 12:1-3 is specifically about us we clearly have been part of that blessing over our history. I personally believe our blessings have primarily been centered around two specific reasons: 1. We have been the foremost nation spreading the Gospel of the Lord Jesus; 2. We have been a rock steady supporter of Israel. When either or both of those stop (and maybe they have or are close to being stopped) the decline of America is certain as God takes His hand of blessing off of us. I struggle with what seems to be the conditions predicted leading to the return of Jesus and wanting this great country to return back to her roots as a truly God-fearing country. Since I don't know the end from the beginning, either way, we follow Him. This article was really excellent, especially how you tied it into America.
